Das besteht aus Sound-Clustern, die von zwei Gruppen von Musikern mit verschiedenen Instrumenten (live, vor Publikum) eingespielt wurden, wobei sie einem mathematisch berechneten aber für den Hörer nicht nachvollziehbaren Plan folgen. Der sieht lange Pausen vor, in denen die Atmosphäre der Aufnahmesituation immer noch vernehmbar ist. Dieser Umstand, dass nämlich (zumindest einer von mehreren Sichtweisen zufolge) Zeit kontinuierlich vergeht, unabhängig von den Ereignissen, die sie möglicherweise speist, wurde bei der Visualisierung aufgegriffen. Der Sound ist, obwohl er aus isolierten Clustern besteht, bei mehrmaligem Hören erstaunlich zusammenhängend, geradezu dramaturgisch sinvoll. Um das Erkennen dieser Zusammenhänge nicht zu behindern, ist die Visualisierung bewusst von stark reduzierter Varianz und Farbigkeit.   Video_67B is part two of a trilogy of visualisations of the musical piece "an opposition_2 groups" by Dutch composer Martijn Tellinga, which consists of sound clusters played by two groups of musicians on various instruments following an elaborate yet incomprehensible plan. This plan includes long pauses, during which the atmosphere of the situation (a live recording in front of audience) can still be heard. One aim of the visualisation was to make visible this continuity of time, which (at least according to one interpretation) flows independent from the events it might harbour. The sound appears to consist of isolated clusters at first glance, but when listened to repeatedly, connections and even a to some extent meaningful dramaturgy emerge. Dextro.org greift diese Doppelung auf und verarbeitet sie auf mehreren Ebenen. Die visuelle "Zweiung", die auf die Schaffung einer höheren Einheit abzielt, operiert planmäßig mit vier amorphen Gebilden. Diese sind, kristallin feinkörnig und in "next to no color" (Dextro.org), mittels eines nicht-linearen Skripts programmiert. Unentscheidbar bewegen sie sich zwischen sämtlichen bekannten Aggregatzuständen: einmal mehr solide, dann wieder liquid, zugleich aber auch höchst ätherisch anmutend. Kontinuierlich schicken diese "friendly aliens", in wallender und morphender Bewegung begriffen, visuelle Signale aus. "Protuberanzen", von Dextro.orgs hochkomplexer Programmierkunst aus den Hintergrundfrequenzen extrahiert, strömen, fließen, sprühen in diverseste Richtungen. Als wollten sie die Getrenntheit und Individuiertheit ihrer trotz allem eingeschränkten Gestalt überwinden - mittels Wellen, Lichtimpulsen und feingesponnenen Fadenmustern, die auf die übrigen Figuren treffen, ja sanft in sie einfließen oder sich an ihnen brechen. Zwar bleibt die Separation bestehen, aber nicht ohne das Verlangen nach Fusion mit allen zur Verfügung stehenden Mitteln demonstriert zu haben. In their invitation, the two directors of Diagonale 2016, Sebastian Höglinger and Peter Schernhuber, called it an "incredibly engaging and precise work". On the basis of algorithmic processes, Video_67b visualizes a music piece by Martijn Tellinga. The sound space unites dialectic principles, evokes trance-like immersion and opens the mind for fascinating and awkward movements and sounds.
